Job Title: Field Service Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company in the global food production sector. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for covering all of Ireland and occasional travel to the UK or supplier sites in Spain and Italy.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical or mechatronics background with experience in the food industry or food production. This is a permanent position based on site at their headquarters in Sligo with approx. 60-80% travel as part of the role.

">Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Installation and servicing of product range.">
  • Provide training to client's maintenance team, on-site evaluations, installation of machine upgrades and equipment testing.">
  • After-sale customer calls, equipment repairs, product troubleshooting, in-house product testing and demos.">
  • Help with the commissioning process of the final product by wiring control panels, motors, e-stops, and isolators.">

  • ">
  • Electrical or Instrumentation abilities with relevant experience.">
  • Experience in the installation, training, calibration, repair, and maintenance of highly technical advanced equipment.">
  • Field Service and/or troubleshooting experience.">
  • Working knowledge of computers and most common software packages.">
  • Working knowledge of MS SQL an advantage.">
  • Ability to produce technical presentations and to deliver training effectively.">
  • Highly organised and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work, location, and hours.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Customer focused, with a passion for building strong relationships with your internal & external customers.">
