Job Summary:

Homecare Specialist Role

This exciting opportunity is for a dedicated and results-driven Homecare Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our expanding business, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our range of products and services to healthcare professionals in hospitals and community settings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation and setup of homecare devices such as CPAP, NIV, Invasive Ventilation and Cough Assist at patient homes and hospital locations across all Trusts.
  • Managing patient installations, clinic support, training and compliance activities with patients and clinicians.
  • Conducting follow-up visits to ensure patient satisfaction and compliance with product usage.
  • Supporting clinical training and educational workshops in key centres across all Trusts.
  • Attending Respiratory Conferences/Meetings when required.

Key Interactions:

  • Regular interaction with patients, their families/carers, and various healthcare professionals including Adult & Paediatric Respiratory Consultants, Anaesthetists, Respiratory Physiologists & Sleep Teams, Respiratory Nurse Specialists, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Physiotherapists, Paediatric Teams, Ward Managers, Integrated Care Teams, Biomedical teams and procurement/supply officers.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse/Physiotherapist/Medical Technician with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in hospital and/or homecare environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex relationships, communicate effectively and maintain accurate records.
  • Able to present, train, mentor and influence customers to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Commercial experience desirable, with the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with key customers.
  • Proven attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Computer literate/practical working IT skills.
  • Full driving licence and an openness to travel.
