Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of events from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Operate and maintain computerized systems for responding to sales enquiries, bookings, and availability.
  • Meet prospective clients for show-arounds for weddings, private and corporate functions.
  • Ensure prompt and professional responses to sales enquiries.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports outlining business performance.
  • Generate quotations for prospective bookings and timely follow-ups.
  • Liaise with clients in relation to coordinating event details.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate event bookings, ensuring accuracy of billing and information.
  • Manage customer feedback, including responding to guest problems and complaints.
  • To schedule and attend meetings as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute events from conception through to completion.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high-quality experiences.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Develop and implement effective event strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve event objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
