Senior Systems Analyst
Job Description:- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing support of our HRIS within the Global Technology Operations Centre in Europe. This role will oversee the software management lifecycle for the HRIS across our EU footprint.
The primary responsibility is the ongoing assessment, design, development and implementation of HRIS applications and modules. The role analyzes information from multiple sources, distinguishes user needs from business needs, and partners with business users, project managers, consultants and IT leadership to optimize scope, benefits and risks of projects and manage stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- System implementation and integration: Serve as the technical lead and business partner to internal customers throughout ongoing HRIS implementation.
- HRIS design and implementation projects: Serve as the liaison between HR, information services, external vendors and other stakeholders.
- Requirements gathering: Provide the project management team with identified risks, concerns and ambiguities discovered during requirements gathering; assist in developing solutions.
- Project documentation: Partner with project managers to complete requirements documentation in alignment with project schedules.
- Testing and deployment: Plan, coordinate and support user acceptance testing and subsequent deployments in coordination with other team leaders.
- End-user and application support: Perform end-user and application support, solve problems, and resolve application function defects; provide systems and application training.
- Integration with other UPMC applications/solutions: Support HRIS integration with other UPMC applications/solutions.
- System maintenance and innovation: Oversee and maintain the HRIS function, including configuration, development, maintenance, and upgrades; manage permissions, access, personalization and other system operations for HRIS users.
- Application pipeline management: Manage the application pipeline of requests, prioritizing with stakeholders and application workgroups.
- Upgrade/patching processes: Develop and maintain robust upgrade/patching processes including testing and go-live decisions.
- Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions: Collaborate with business process owners and technical teams to develop, implement and manage DR solutions in line with Criticality and Business Continuity Plans.
- Vendor management: Perform vendor management, monitor performance, and escalate issues as required.
- HR-centric workflows: Design HR-centric workflows that reflect how HR operates and address common HR problems.
- Technical support and troubleshooting: Provide technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to HRIS users.
- System improvements and enhancements: Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
- Change management: Drive change management with regular communications and end-user trainings.
- Team collaboration: Foster a team-first approach, coordinating with multiple teams to complete projects and initiatives.
