Job Title: Engineering Technician
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join their team in Sligo. This role involves working as part of a team to support engineering operations in pharma manufacturing, ensuring compliance with all safety, regulatory and organizational requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in design and process project conversations to ensure reliability by design is built in prior to equipment arrival. They will also own and prepare preventative and predictive maintenance for new pharma equipment being installed, approving these procedures on Maximo.
Key responsibilities include completion and documentation of PM's and pDM's on manufacturing equipment into Maximo, owning and ensuring that commissioning spare parts are received and cataloged in Maximo, and identifying and receiving critical spare parts. The role also requires active participation in Factory Acceptance testing, Site Acceptance Testing and commissioning and qualification of equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant trade qualification or engineering qualification to Cert level at a minimum, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. They should have proven problem-solving ability on complex equipment and instrumentation/PLC troubleshooting ability.
The successful candidate will be required to maintain records and documentation on relevant Engineering Procedures and preventative/demand maintenance, and perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- Relevant Trade Qualification or engineering qualification to Cert level at a minimum (Diploma/Degree Preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years in a highly regulated manufacturing (Pharma/Biologics/Medical Device) environment required.
- Proven problem solving ability on complex equipment.
- Proven instrumentation/PLC troubleshooting ability.
Previous knowledge of Maximo and experience of FAT's, SAT's and C&Q of equipment would be an advantage.
