As Technical Solutions Lead, you will drive end-to-end technical roadmaps for marketplace integrations, manage enhancements and upgrades to Magento stores, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive technical strategies to integrate marketplaces and platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, Amazon, eBay).
- Lead enhancements and upgrades to Magento stores, Marketplace Connectors, and third-party modules, including sourcing quotations and scoping.
- Communicate complex technical solutions to clients and align them with business needs.
- Maintain and evolve a master list of go-to modules and technical tools to support scalable and efficient builds.
- Scope initiatives, gather technical requirements, and guide internal teams through the scoping process.
- Drive UAT processes, including technical ownership of test cycles, performance validation, and GraphQL/API testing.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA to deliver scoped enhancements on time and within budget.
- Proactively monitor site performance and recommend SEO and performance improvements.
- Update and maintain technical scope notes and commercial revenue opportunities.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Magento architecture and extension management.
- Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, integrations, and third-party platform connectors.
- Familiarity with technical SEO best practices, site speed optimization, and analytics tools.
- Understanding of web development technologies (PHP, JS, HTML/CSS) to communicate effectively with dev teams.
- Experience in UAT, performance testing, and technical documentation.
- Exposure to marketplace integrations (Amazon, eBay, Shopify, etc.) is a plus.
- Client-facing communication and solution design.
- Excellent project scoping, quoting, and estimation abilities.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical plans.
- Organized and proactive, with strong documentation and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable juggling multiple client initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- 3–5+ years of experience in a technical solutions or integration role in the eCommerce space.
- Magento certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (Jira, Confluence).
