Comprehensive Support for Our HR Team
About the Role:- This position involves providing vital administrative support to our HR team, focusing on employee relations and human resources tasks.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee personnel files, coordinating recruitment processes, and assisting with onboarding procedures.
Detailed responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records in both digital and physical formats.
- Coordinating the hiring process from job posting to interview scheduling, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Assisting with the onboarding of new employees, including preparing welcome packages, training materials, and conducting inductions.
- Liaising with payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee data.
- Tracking and reporting employee hours, adhering to relevant employment legislation.
- Processing employee leave requests, maintaining accrual entitlements, and updating rosters accordingly.
- Reviewing and addressing alerts related to work permits, GNIB, under-18, and other compliance factors through our HRIS system.
- Maintaining and updating all personnel records, including health and safety training records.
- Drafting and updating job descriptions as required.
Required qualifications include a minimum of 2 years' administration experience, a degree in Human Resources or office management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
