Inventory and Logistics Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory and Logistics Expert to lead and optimize our warehousing and inventory operations at a busy manufacturing site in County Cavan.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials and components are in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantity, to support efficient production and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of inventory systems, advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with lean practices, Kanban systems, or just-in-time inventory.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and overseeing inventory control processes
  • Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet production and customer demand
  • Conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
  • Minimizing waste, stockouts, and obsolete inventory
  • Managing and improving inventory control systems, coordinating closely with suppliers and logistics providers to manage incoming stock

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or warehouse operations in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Demonstrated experience with stock control systems and ERP/WMS software
