Strategic Talent Development Specialist

The role involves developing and implementing performance management strategies to support employee engagement and development.

This position suits a candidate with a strong background in HR or Learning & Development, responsible for administration of performance management processes, bonus and salary review cycles, promotions, and remuneration.

As a Strategic Talent Development Specialist, you will be a Super User for HR Systems, including administration, user training, and development. A strong focus on data analytics and accuracy is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement performance management strategies aligned to the firm's values and objectives.
  • Review and develop performance management processes, and tools to evaluate performance and inform promotions.
  • Lead objective setting, manage the annual calendar, and provide training and support on objective setting and review.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement and provide meaningful reporting.
  • Be the HR system super-user, produce reports, and statistics focusing on data analytics and accuracy.
  • Work with finance and HR teams on remuneration policy, bonus structure, and implementation.
  • Co-ordinate promotion and remuneration cycles, ensuring fairness and transparency.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify development opportunities and craft training programmes.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers to help them develop their teams.
  • Develop and monitor succession plans and capacity planning across the firm.

Requirements:

  • HR professional with proven experience in performance management, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles, methodologies, and best practice.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Project management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in HR systems and software applications.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and discretion, influence, and commitment to continuous learning.
