Home Care Provider

We provide a range of support services to empower individuals, helping them maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.

Support Services
  • Companionship and Assistance
    • Offer companionship and conversation.
    • Provide physical assistance with walking and mobility.
    • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation and cleaning.
    • Remind clients of medication and appointment schedules.
  • Home Help and Maintenance
    • Carry out light housekeeping duties (dusting, vacuuming, laundry, etc).
    • Wash and iron clothing.
    • Run errands and assist with grocery shopping.
    • Accompany clients to appointments and medical facilities.
  • Personal Care and Hygiene
    • Assist clients with bathing and showering.
    • Help with dressing and grooming.
    • Provide personal hygiene support, including toileting and incontinence care.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Act as a key member of the client's support network.
  • Document daily activities and report any significant changes or concerns regarding client needs and well-being.
  • Contribute to creating a positive living environment that enhances the client's quality of life.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Use equipment and supplies safely and effectively, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Record working hours according to office guidelines.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  • Treat clients and their property with respect and dignity.
  • Adapt to various living environments and locations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and family members.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client information.
  • Transport clients and complete errands as needed.
  • Demonstrate high motivation and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Meet the physical demands of the position, including manual tasks.
  • Work flexible hours, including overnight shifts.
  • Display excellent time-keeping and attendance habits.
Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess a QQI qualification in care or be actively working towards one.
  • Hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Have prior experience as a Home Care Provider.
