Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Engineering Lead to join our team in Tirlan Wexford, Rocklands. As the Engineering & Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the site's maintenance and continuous improvement strategy for milk processing into cheese and by-products.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hygienic maintenance and best-in-class maintenance standards, as well as knowledge of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma implementation. They will also possess advanced organization and planning skills, with a strong ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

This role reports to the Site Lead as part of the Plant Management Team and is accountable for management of the maintenance technician group and ensuring they are adequately trained and integrated into the plant operations team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade Qualified and/or 3rd level qualification in Engineering or related Technical Discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, process, or maintenance, preferably in a dairy, food, beverage background desirable.
  • Strong PC skills including; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), SAP or other CMMS systems.
  • Results driven, customer-focused with high performance capability in a fast-moving challenging business environment.
