Job Opportunity

The Construction Supervisor position is responsible for representing the organization in the supervision and monitoring of construction works undertaken by contractors on a light rail network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regular inspections of the light rail network to ensure compliance with quality standards and programme requirements
  • Monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control of contractors' works, ensuring adherence to statutory codes and laws
  • Oversee onsite supervision of contractor performance against programme requirements, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruptions
  • Manage Public Relations interfaces, addressing key issues efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure all contractors and employees meet Health, Safety, and Environmental obligations as per relevant statutory codes and laws
Requirements:
  • A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is highly desirable
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior construction supervisor role on major infrastructure projects, preferably including rail or light rail projects working with related disciplines
  • Relevant training e.g. High Risk Confined Space Training, Working at Heights, etc. is desirable but not essential
