Business Development Lead
As a Business Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and managing hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences, drive strategic growth, and maintain high-performance standards. You will foster a positive work environment and promote cross-selling opportunities within the Dalata Hotel Group.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and win new business across all owned segments.
• Collaborate with the Area Director of Sales to achieve objectives in the Sales business plan.
• Represent the hotels at sales team meetings and internal & external customer-led events as required.
• Utilize available tools to support efficient ways of working, including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools, and Solver.
• Execute a proactive sales plan to develop and nurture new accounts across all owned segments for the hotels.
• Identify and manage new opportunities in your market in line with hotels strategy and across the wider Dalata portfolio.
• Instil a culture of cross-selling, referrals, and sharing of leads.
• Develop a strategic approach for key segments of owned segments and identify opportunities to drive revenue and reduce costs.
• Participate fully in all sales activities, including telesales, sales calls, corporate entertaining, fam trips, social events, and overseas sales trips, as necessary.
• Collaborate with the ADOS on rate strategy, budget planning, forecasting for owned segments, and identifying & analyzing opportunities to ensure they fit with the hotels business strategy.
• Undertake monthly corporate tracking of corporate accounts in the hotels to monitor production and more importantly to identify any decreases and take necessary action to remedy.
• Collaborate with the ADOS on the analysis of GDS production reports & market intelligence information to develop new leads from this business channel for the hotels.
• Timely production of monthly & ad hoc reports.
