Estimating Coordinator Job

This is a full-time opportunity for an Estimating Coordinator to join our team.

  • Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in the preparation of tender documents, manage incoming transmittals, and coordinate internal collaboration documents.

  • The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar pre-construction estimating role or document control role, with strong IT skills and high level of verbal and written English.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Document control for the Estimating & Proposals team
    • Management of incoming transmittals and internal collaboration documents
    • Ensure that estimate documentation is notified/received by the relevant people involved in the tender across internal teams
    • Manage the Tender documentation to ensure that all parties have access to the required documents as required, including drawings, schedules, specifications, contract letters, submittals, RFIs and reports
    • Maintain overall tender list in conjunction with the Estimating & Proposals Lead
    • Maintain and co-ordinate shared documentation across multiple teams in tender collaboration process
    • Assist Estimators with issue of tender packs to sub-contractors & vendors
    • Maintain sub-contractor & vendor database and details
    • Maintain vigilance for the progress of requests for quotations and enquiries received from suppliers
  • Requirements:
    • Prior experience in a similar pre-construction estimating role or a document control role
    • Experience of knowledge sharing applications is advantageous eg. Viewpoint, BIM360 etc
    • High level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
    • High level of verbal and written English is essential
