Maintenance Director

We are seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the effective operation of internal equipment and machinery in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to drive operational excellence and enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure seamless equipment and machinery operation through proactive maintenance.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Oversee multiple internal systems, ensuring any upgrades or process improvements are effectively implemented.
  • Coordinate plant activities for maintenance personnel, leveraging strong communication and delegation skills.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial controls to optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Monitor candidate performance, addressing disciplinary issues in conjunction with HR.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a production environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and external vendor management.
  • Leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to influence and adapt to change.
  • Apprenticeship or degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Electrical management and maintenance expertise.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
