About Risk Management
Risk management is a critical function that involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to protect an organization's financial ecosystem.
This role requires a detail-oriented and forward-thinking risk analyst with a passion for data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our financial ecosystem through risk identification, fraud prevention, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-own and manage risk-related KPIs, ensuring alignment with broader business and product strategies.
- Apply holistic risk management practices across customer interactions, payment flows, and operational processes.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams to design and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify and mitigate fraud, declines, and collusion, particularly in high-risk areas such as invoice and Business Account creation.
- Analyze large datasets to detect emerging fraud patterns and optimize fraud detection models.
- Streamline dispute resolution workflows and eliminate inefficiencies in existing procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work equivalent experience in risk management, fraud analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Solid understanding of fraud typologies and transaction monitoring principles.
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
