Project Manager II Role Summary

The Project Manager II oversees the planning and coordination of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. These projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, as well as PC deployment.

Responsibilities include defining project requirements, performing feasibility assessments, developing detailed project plans, and managing all implementation processes, including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control processes, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) are used to measure project performance, and regular status updates are provided to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications/Skills

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with 5-8 years of related experience and/or training. The ideal candidate will have experience working with project management teams, resolving conflict, and meeting schedule timelines.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information are essential. Additionally, the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, communicate project updates to client executives, and work on multiple projects concurrently is crucial.

Familiarity with various project management methodologies and proven ability to drive project lifecycle milestones from concept commit through project closure is desirable.
