About the Position:

This role oversees the development and execution of operational communications, ensuring a culture of quality and efficiency across global operations. The ideal candidate will help champion best practices and deliver engaging communications that inspire, connect, and reinforce critical operational functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Operational Communications: Develop and execute communication strategies to promote quality, safety, compliance, and customer service across global operations.
  • Develop Executive & Leader Communications: Create and implement communications plans for senior leaders to drive engagement, visibility, and connection with colleagues. Equip leaders with tools and messaging to foster alignment and engagement.
  • Enhance Employee Engagement & Communication Effectiveness: Lead the development of an Operations Communications Council bringing together key communicators to drive employee engagement and promote knowledge sharing to enhance communications efforts.
  • Lead Change & Organizational Communications: Provide strategic counsel and develop communications to support organizational announcements, restructuring activities, and integrations impacting global operations.
  • Prepare for and Manage Issues: Proactively prepare for known issues to mitigate impact and refine issues management response strategy. Provide prompt and appropriate internal/external communications support in the event of a crisis.
  • Support External Communications: Assist with background information for media inquiries. Stay informed of industry news and advise on potential impacts on internal and external communications.
  • Measure Impact & Drive Continuous Improvement: Use metrics and analytics to assess communications effectiveness, apply insights to improve efforts, and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate & Align Globally: Serve as a collaborative partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency with brand standards and adherence to the evolving corporate narrative.

About Your Skills & Experience:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in communication or related field is preferred.
  • Extensive experience within a similar industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead communications around sensitive operational matters.
  • Strong collaborator and relationship builder, able to influence and connect effectively across all levels and functions.
  • Innovative communicator with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Skilled at identifying operational efficiencies and applying communications best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and complex environment.
