About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and contract management, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to support business objectives.
  • Tender Management: Manage tender processes from initiation to award, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including negotiations, renewals, and terminations.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and stock control.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on procurement spend, inventory levels, and vendor performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Qualifications: A degree in a relevant field, such as purchasing, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
