Purchasing Administrator Opportunity

Staffline Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join a well-established and market-leading supply and distribution company based in Dublin 12.

The successful candidate will have experience in purchasing, inventory management, or stock control who has a growth mindset, keen attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn, improve, and contribute to the success of the business.

  • Process and manage purchase orders, requisitions, and acknowledgements
  • Ensure timely delivery and accurate receipt of goods
  • Maintain and update SAP Item Master Data, including pricing
  • Run MRP to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
  • Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies and shipping errors
  • Co-ordinate customs clearance where required
  • Conduct purchase and stock analysis with regular reporting
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a purchasing, logistics, or inventory-focused role
  • Experience with SAP an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Customer-focused approach, both internally and externally
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends
  • Proactive in recognising opportunities for process improvement
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
