Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be working in the home environment with a child who requires one-on-one care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medication management, seizure management, nebulizer management, pain management, and care of complex needs/disability.
  • Administer buccal midazolam if required.
  • Manage airway, suctioning, stoma care, moving and handling, skin integrity, and infection control.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality while working as a lone worker.
  • Ensure CPR is up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Hold an in-date and current ABA/NMBI pin.
  • Have previous experience working with children.
  • Be willing to undergo any training required.
  • Undergo Garda Vetting and register with the INMO or affiliated union.
  • Provide full immunizations and vaccination history.
  • Hold a full clean driving license (desirable).
