Site Operations Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail site. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

1. To be aware of the level of business expected on the site and enable delivery of exceptional guest services.
2. To supervise, manage and assist in the daily operation of all service areas ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised, implementing and maintaining the highest standard operation procedures for all service areas.
3. To liaise with Departmental Manager/Site Management regarding all operational issues.
4. To ensure a high level of hygiene is implemented throughout the Site at all times, with a strict cleaning schedule in operation and regular monitoring/recording of the same.
5. To ensure all equipment on the Site is up to required standard and not abused, by supervising and reacting to issues as they arise.
6. To supervise all staff rostered to work and ensure that they are present in full clean & tidy uniform as per Company standards.
7. To record staff lateness/sickness as per company procedure, report lateness/sickness to the relevant department manager.
8. To ensure all departments are operating according to the official opening hours and act on issues related to opening and closing a department to facilitate smooth operations.

Our Facilities Operations Manager will also be responsible for:

1. Supervising, managing and assisting in the daily operation of non-departmental areas ensuring they are adequately staffed and supervised, implementing and maintaining the highest standard operation procedures for all service areas.
2. Being involved in stock takes which are carried out/to carry out stock takes.
3. Ensuring implementation of cleaning procedures across the non-departmental areas.
4. Ensuring a high standard of personal hygiene.
5. Being fully aware of all Company policies and duties involved in each non department area.
6. In case of an emergency situation, ensuring the safety of staff, customers and any other person on the premises.
7. Carrying out emergency procedure as per case arisen.
8. Keeping non-departmental areas tidy and safe and reporting any hazard, loss or damage to site management.
9. Being aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and the location of all first aid boxes.
10. Observing all safety rules and procedures, including those outlined in the Health & Safety Statement.
11. Carrying out and promoting fire and accident/other safety drills as directed by the site safety officer.
12. Participating in all Health and Safety training scheduled for you and your team.
13. Being an active member the Health & Safety Committee and attending monthly meetings.
14. Informing Management immediately in the event that you are personally involved in any accident or incident on the site grounds or if you are witness to an accident or incident involving a third party.
15. Dealing with and recording an employee liability / public liability incidents as per company procedures.
