Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert support and guidance in the realm of compliance, risk, and financial crime. The successful candidate will work closely with the Risk and Compliance Jurisdictional Lead to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, managing, and mitigating money laundering and financing of terrorism risks. They will also implement and maintain policies and procedures related to risk, compliance, and anti-money laundering/counter-terrorist financing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (CF-2) and Head of Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (PCF-52)
  • Assist with day-to-day running of Ireland Compliance and Risk function
  • Identify and assess high-risk clients to ensure onboarding is in accordance with agreed procedures and local laws, regulations, and guidance
  • Develop and performance of Group Compliance Monitoring Programme
  • Provide training to all staff
  • Point of contact for Compliance queries from fee earners and support staff
  • Manage relationships with regulators including reporting
  • Take responsibility for input and maintenance of key compliance registers
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to financial operations
  • Proven track record working in Funds industry
  • Experience in Compliance function in a regulated business environment
  • Knowledge of trust and company structures and Irish AML/CDD requirements
  • Ability to make decisions and use initiative within regulatory requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good analytical and organisational skills, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communicator
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Viewpoint, and SharePoint
