Job Description

Role Overview:

As a BIM Delivery Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's Building Information Modeling (BIM) delivery strategy across all mechanical projects.

You will ensure alignment with client and project BIM requirements, manage the production, coordination, and delivery of BIM models and associated data throughout project lifecycles.

Developing and maintaining the company's BIM standards, templates, workflows, and execution plans are essential tasks in this role.

Effective model coordination and clash detection processes across disciplines using Navisworks or similar tools are crucial to your success.

As the primary point of contact for BIM-related queries, you will interact with internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to provide technical expertise and support.

Chairing BIM coordination meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders is also a key responsibility in this role.

Supporting the development and training of BIM Coordinators and Designers within the business is another important task that requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Evaluating and implementing emerging digital construction technologies to improve productivity and model accuracy is critical to driving innovation in this field.

Ensuring quality control, version management, and proper use of Common Data Environments (CDEs) is vital to the success of this role.

Collaborating closely with the Design, Engineering, and Project Management teams to ensure model accuracy and constructability is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar BIM role within the mechanical or building services industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 (or similar platforms)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.)
  • Knowledge of construction processes, standards, and digital workflows
