We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our Quality, Safety, and Risk function.
This senior leadership role will direct and coordinate all aspects of the service's quality management system, ensuring excellence in patient care and service delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Implementing quality improvement programmes aligned with national standards.
- Managing clinical risk, adverse event reviews, and promoting learning through open disclosure.
- Overseeing the quality management system and clinical audit programme.
- Supporting the integration of risk and quality strategies into hospital operations.
- Representing the hospital at external forums and national-level quality and safety initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years' senior managerial experience in quality and patient safety.
- A Level 8 qualification in a clinical discipline or in Risk/Quality in Healthcare.
- A proven track record in incident management, risk assessment, quality improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced knowledge of Irish healthcare standards and national policy frameworks.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, analytical, and communication skills.
