Project Manager Job Description

The Operational Excellence Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting Business Unit Leadership Teams and functional departments through the development of business process standards.

This involves shaping and leading site-wide change programs using lean & six sigma methodologies to drive business excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing business process standards
  • Shaping and leading change programs
  • Embedding and sustaining continuous improvement processes
  • Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
  • Enhancing employee involvement and engagement in process improvements
  • Ensuring all projects are conducted to the highest standards
  • Engaging diverse perspectives and backgrounds to generate effective ideas

Experience requirements include:

  • A third-level degree or qualification in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • At least 5 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Certification to Black/Green belt level or relevant Lean or Six Sigma qualification
  • A proven track record of leading significant projects and/or change initiatives

The ideal candidate will have strong cross-functional business insight and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
