As a Customer Experience Manager, you will play a key role in delivering this vision by leading a team of retail professionals to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
The Role
- Lead a team of retail professionals to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a welcoming store environment.
- Manage change operations, checkout processes, and equipment to maintain high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that your team is fully trained and equipped to handle customer queries and concerns.
- Coach and develop colleagues to enable them to achieve their full potential and contribute to the success of the store.
- Review reports and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance the customer experience.
- Drive a culture of zero food waste, manage date codes, and minimize food waste to reduce environmental impact.
- Select and recruit top talent for your team, focusing on candidates who share our passion for customer service and are passionate about working with customers.
- Develop and implement cleaning plans to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Manage stock control activities, warehouse layout, and processes to ensure seamless operations.
- Root cause any issues related to prices, overcharges, refunds, and label routines to ensure accuracy and fairness.
- Optimize front-end operations to minimize queue times and ensure customers have a smooth shopping experience.
- Recognize and reward colleagues who demonstrate excellent customer service and address performance issues promptly.
What You'll Need
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire and motivate your team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a similar role.
