Senior Information Security Leader

Our company is seeking a seasoned Senior Information Security Leader to oversee the development and implementation of our comprehensive security strategy. This pivotal role will play a crucial part in shaping our cybersecurity posture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of security excellence within our organization.

Reporting directly to the CISO/CSO, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that align with our business objectives. This includes leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging your expertise to inform decision-making.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

    2. Lead compliance efforts for ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST CSF, ensuring seamless integration with existing frameworks.

    3. Oversee audits, risk assessments, incident response, and third-party security engagements, utilizing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

    4. Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed security into software development life cycles, ensuring robust threat mitigation strategies.

    5. Represent security interests at board-level meetings, stakeholder engagement sessions, and external events.

  • Requirements:

    1. Minimum 7 years of experience in information security, with demonstrated leadership roles.

    2. Proven track record of success with ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance initiatives.

    3. Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and DevSecOps principles, with hands-on experience.

    4. Experience working in regulated industries, preferably in MedTech or digital health.

    5. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) are highly desirable.
