
Senior Claims Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a skilled First Notification of Loss Claims Specialist to join our team. This role will play a key part in providing excellent service to brokers, customers, and insurers.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle FNOL claims from initial notification through to settlement with efficiency and professionalism.
- Manage daily claims post, notifications, processing, and calls with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
- Ensure thorough logging of claims, reserves, amendments, and payments to maintain seamless operations.
- Support the preparation of monthly reports and collaborate with insurer audits to drive business growth.
- Appoint and liaise with approved experts (repairers, loss adjusters, engineers, medical and legal professionals) to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Settle claims efficiently, aiming for early resolution where possible to minimize delays and maximize customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will report directly to the Claims Operations Manager and have a hybrid working model after training, typically 2–3 days in the office (flexible by agreement).
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of relevant FNOL claims handling experience.
- APA Insurance qualification (or working towards it) – essential for long-term career progression.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-focused, proactive, and customer-oriented approach to ensure exceptional service delivery.
