Job Title: Fire Systems Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Fire Systems Specialist to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission and service fire detection, alarm and suppression systems to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain fire detection, fire suppression systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers as per agreed contracts.
  • Provide regular reports on activities to support management in planning strategic and operational direction for the fire systems team.
  • Ensure accurate use of PDA and close jobs with relevant information to enable prompt invoicing and certification.
  • Account for all client's property, vehicles, stock, test equipment and tools and ensure they are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with sales team by providing expert advice during on-site inspections to specify customer needs.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer queries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Attend to emergency activations and other attendances advised through the service desk and Pageboy services.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience in standard & complex fire suppression systems.
  • Ability to manage large projects from design through to completion.
  • Proven experience of commissioning large projects with complex strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of conventional and analogue fire alarm systems.
  • Experience working with major fire alarm brands including air sampling systems.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Full clean driving licence essential.
  • Electrical background a distinct advantage.
