Hotel Receptionist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled receptionist to join our front office team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling rooms, taking restaurant reservations, confirming bookings, and managing online sales.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and customer service to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in sales and be proficient in using hotel reservation systems, reconciling cash and lodgements, and loading rates on booking engines.

They will also possess excellent interpersonal, sales, and organisational skills, as well as a friendly and outgoing personality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell rooms and take restaurant reservations
  • Confirm bookings and manage online sales
  • Reconcile cash and lodgements
  • Loading rates and packages onto online booking systems
  • Manage online sales

The role involves working five days per week, with all day shifts, including weekends. The latest finish time is 8:30 pm.

Requirements:
  • An outgoing and friendly personality
  • At least two years of experience in sales
  • Proficient in using hotel reservation systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, sales, and organisational skills
  • Fast typing speeds
  • Computer literate
  • Experience working with hotel booking systems and online reservations systems

The successful candidate will receive full training by the front office manager in all in-house systems, reservation systems, and SOPs.
