Experienced Duty Manager Sought for 4-Star Hotel in Cork

This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned 4-star hotel in Cork as a seasoned Duty Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including Food and Beverage, Front of House, and Events/Weddings.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in managing busy Food and Beverage operations, as well as outlets and rooms service. They must also have expertise in managing Conferences, Weddings, and Events, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

The selected individual will be expected to observe all shift and opening/closing procedures, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. They will also be required to lead and guide the team as required during service/shift, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have at least 2-3 years of Duty Management experience in a Leisure style 4* Hotel in Ireland, preferably with a proven track record of effective leadership and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations and coordinate all areas of the hotel
  • Lead and guide the team as required during service/shift
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail
  • Observe all shift and opening/closing procedures
  • Provide mature leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing busy Food and Beverage operations
  • Outlets and Rooms service experience
  • Candidates need experience managing Conferences, Weddings, and Events
  • Front office training is needed, ability to check in/out and assist in this area
  • Must display effective leadership and team management abilities
  • Reliable, committed, motivated, and above all professional person required
  • 2-3 years Duty Management experience in Leisure style 4* Hotel in Ireland preferred
