
Maintenance Operations Coordinator

This role involves providing facilities and maintenance services across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure premises, equipment, and outdoor areas are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Maintain company buildings, grounds, furniture, equipment, and fittings to a high standard.
- Identify, report, and repair hazards that could pose a risk to health, safety, or welfare.
- Keep all facilities in a safe, secure, and operational condition, complying with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
- Respond to adverse weather by implementing appropriate safety measures.
- Act as a designated keyholder and attend to alarm activations and site access issues as required.
- Record utility meter readings and maintain up-to-date records in the CAFM system.
- Work in accordance with Health & Safety policies and statutory obligations.
- Support regular compliance inspections by ensuring facilities are prepared and documentation is available.
- Essential Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in maintenance or facilities roles, General DIY and repair skills, Full clean driver's licence and own transport (van preferred), Basic understanding of Health & Safety obligations.
- Skills & Competencies: Ability to work independently, Strong problem-solving and time management skills, Good interpersonal and communication skills, Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Experience working in childcare, school, or care environments, Familiarity with CAFM systems or maintenance logging platforms, Trade qualifications (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
- Skills & Competencies: A proactive approach to unexpected issues, Ability to assess minor technical issues and escalate appropriately.
