Job Title: IT Incident and Problem Manager

This role focuses on the operational execution of incident & problem management policies, ensuring organisational accountability and control. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the problem record lifecycle in accordance with established policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the problem record lifecycle in accordance with the Problem Management Policy.
  • Identify, record and track incidents/problems/challenges through to satisfactory resolution in line with agreed plans.
  • Facilitate and participate in problem management meetings, including RCA meetings after service-impacting issues, outstanding problem/task reviews and inter-departmental status updates.
  • Provide ownership of major IT incidents and coordinate incident resolution processes and recovery activities.
Requirements:
  • Problem and Incident Management experience within complex global corporate environments, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong expertise with Service Now or similar ITSM tools, understanding how they support problem management process activities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably demonstrated by previous experience in similar roles.
  • Effective communication skills, managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
