We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homecare Professional to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who wish to make a positive impact in the lives of others while developing their career in care.

The role will involve providing personal care, companionship, and maintaining the dignity and respect of clients. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including those with dementia and those requiring end-of-life care.

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also be willing to learn and develop your skills further, with training provided by us.

We offer a competitive salary package, including enhanced Sunday and bank holiday rates. We also provide full induction training, people moving and handling training, and continuous support to ensure you feel confident and capable in your role.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Maintaining the dignity and respect of clients at all times.
  • Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores.
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of QQI Level 5 qualification in Care Skills or equivalent.
  • Personal experience in care, either paid or unpaid.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills further.
