The Duty Manager position is a highly responsible role that requires strong organisational skills, exceptional guest service and technical ability during busy hotel operations. As Duty Manager, you will lead by example and uphold the high standards expected in this property. Working alongside Operations Management and Heads of Department, you will operate on a shift basis, covering various patterns. Shifts include early mornings and late nights, ending around 1am. The role involves working on weekends and across different hotel departments.
You will be a key contact at the hotel, ensuring all service areas are facilitated and operate to very high standards with a hands-on approach. Additionally, you will oversee the compliance and security of the building in conjunction with Operations and General Manager.
We are seeking an experienced candidate with a proven background in 4* hotel operations, preferably with experience in Food & Beverage management or as an Assistant Manager in a busy hotel department. A friendly and approachable personality is essential, along with excellent guest service skills, fluent English, and a high standard of personal presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Management of Staff: Directly supervise and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Knowledge in Food and Beverage: Possess a thorough understanding of food safety, stock control and menu planning.
