The Opportunity

\

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager who is a MICE specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Develop and implement annual MICE sales plans that meet or exceed revenue targets.\
  • Manage a portfolio of existing and new local and national accounts, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth.\
  • Solicit new business in the domestic MICE market, leveraging existing relationships and networks.\
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate groups segment, targeting domestic clients.\
  • Maximise revenue opportunities from existing and new accounts through strategic planning and effective account management.\
  • Participate in regular sales activities, including client visits, site inspections, fam trips, trade shows, sales missions, and networking events.\
  • Conduct regular SWOT analysis on competitor hotels to identify areas for improvement.\
  • Manage sales projects as per business requirements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.\
  • Monitor and report on local market conditions, providing insights to inform business decisions.\
  • Implement yield management strategies for Rooms, Meetings & Events, and Food & Beverage outlets, optimising revenue streams.\
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing as required, providing support and expertise to drive business growth.\

Requirements

\

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years' proactive / MICE hotel sales experience in a target-driven sales environment. A Bachelor's degree with strong business acumen performance and excellent administrative skills are essential.
