Job Description:

The Senior Site Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, reviewing drawings and specifications, monitoring construction quality, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and Senior Management on large-scale residential and commercial projects
  • Manage day-to-day site activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and understand all drawings and specifications, highlighting errors/omissions to the design team promptly
  • Monitor construction quality, workmanship, and materials, maintaining accurate records on document control system
  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Assist with Health & Safety and quality standards on site
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors effectively

Maintaining thorough site records, including site diary, and supporting the commercial team with labour and material allocations will be essential.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience managing large-scale residential and commercial projects
  • Full Irish Driving Licence
  • Valid Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with construction document control systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong work ethic and team-focused approach
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
