Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team in Cork, Dublin or Carlow office.

The role requires a minimum of five years post-graduate experience and expertise in ecological consultancy services.

  • Manage individual contracts to deliver high-quality ecological work.
  • Provide expert ecological input for various projects.
  • Plan, conduct, and supervise site ecological surveys and fieldwork.
  • Develop Construction Environmental Management Plans.
  • Carry out Appropriate Assessments and Ecological Impact Assessments.
  • Write technical reports and other deliverables.
  • Oversee quality, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients.
Key Qualifications
  • Degree in ecology or related field.
  • Minimum of five years experience in ecological consultancy.
  • Member of CIEEM, CIWEM, or equivalent professional body.
  • In-depth knowledge of wildlife and conservation legislation in Ireland.
  • Excellent technical report writing skills.
