We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of the store management team, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and mentoring employees.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading, motivating, and training teams. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role. You will be responsible for assisting the store manager, overseeing staff, and implementing sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the store manager in managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and mentoring employees.
  • Mentor and oversee store employees in accordance with the store manager's instructions.
  • Take full responsibility for store operations when the store manager is not present.
  • Support the store manager in merchandising, customer service, and human resources.
  • Arrange and report on daily operations.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and managing staff.
  • Schedule staff, evaluate performance, and implement disciplinary measures.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels by monitoring stock.
  • Contribute to recruitment and sales strategies.
  • Review and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and explain business trends to upper management.
  • Ensure health and safety laws are followed.
  • Keep the store neat, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Address customer issues and complaints promptly.
  • Support clients and provide troubleshooting when needed.
  • Respond to emails and calls related to the store.
  • Own your store's sales targets and help achieve them.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by upper management.
Requirements:
  • Experience leading, motivating, and training teams.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform all work floor activities, including reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting goods.
