Culinary Team Lead Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Culinary Professional to join our team in Co. Cork, Ireland.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff with professionalism, motivation, and attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team with strong leadership skills, setting high standards for performance and productivity
  • Oversee daily operations, providing support to the Executive Chef in achieving financial and quality targets, while maintaining efficient cost controls
  • Design and implement innovative menus, aligning with HACCP standards, to meet the evolving tastes and preferences of customers
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff to deliver exceptional service, enhancing their culinary skills and knowledge
  • Manage stock, purchasing, and inventory effectively, minimizing waste and maximizing profitability
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standard, with efficiency and elegance, meeting the expectations of discerning customers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to excel
  • A passion for fine food, with exceptional standards and attention to detail, driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-standard environment, where flexibility and adaptability are essential
