Energy Efficiency Inspector

As an Energy Efficiency Inspector, you will conduct post-installation inspections on energy upgrade works in line with SEAI standards. These inspections ensure high standards across domestic retrofit projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform quality assurance inspections on energy retrofit works.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of inspection documentation via digital tools or paper.
- Offer advice to homeowners and contractors regarding energy upgrades and scheme compliance.
- Manage appointments with homeowners – visits typically take place between 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday.
- Complete 5–6 inspections per day, depending on homeowner availability and geographic factors.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team and internal teams.
- Attend regular training and contribute to continuous improvement in quality delivery.
Regional Role - What to Expect:
- Inspectors work within their local region (Ireland South, all within 2 hours' drive from their home base).
- Occasional travel outside the region may be required, with overnight hotel stays arranged and covered, including a food allowance.
Requirements:
- FETAC Level 6 qualification in Plumbing (mandatory)
- Solid knowledge of domestic construction and heating systems
- Comfortable working in a field-based, autonomous role
- Clear communication skills, especially with homeowners and contractors
- Proficient with mobile devices and digital reporting tools
- Full driving licence
