Job Title

Senior Sous Chef

This is a senior culinary role that involves leading a small/medium-sized kitchen team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase creativity and attention to detail, taking into account culinary trends and traditional cuisine.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, food storage, and record keeping to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Lead and mentor the kitchen team, including wash-up and kitchen assistant staff, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment, with relevant industry qualifications and current certifications (e.g., HACCP).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the team.
  • Proven experience in menu development and collaboration with front-of-house teams, with a deep understanding of culinary trends and traditional cuisine.
Benefits
