Opportunity for Senior Bar Professional

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional to lead a well-established bar team in a high-end setting renowned for its exceptional service, world-class guest experience, and picturesque location.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a similar role within a 4* or 5* hotel or high-end hospitality environment. They should have strong knowledge of spirits, wine, mixology, and premium beverage service, as well as excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hotel's bar and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of hygiene, presentation, and customer service.
  • Train, lead, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain efficient stock control, ordering, and inventory systems.
  • Create seasonal beverage menus and cocktail offerings in collaboration with the team, while monitoring and controlling labour costs and profitability.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are strictly adhered to and work closely with senior management on promotional events and service improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a 4* or 5* hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, mixology, and premium beverage service.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Must be currently living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland (ROI).
