About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key role in the efficient operation of our commercial portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring that all buildings are running smoothly and efficiently. This will include coordinating with internal teams, managing contractors, and overseeing maintenance and repairs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with building hosts, cleaners, and other operational staff to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensuring compliance with service level agreements
  • Developing and presenting business cases for improvements and innovations in service delivery
  • Liaising with external IT suppliers to ensure all systems are functioning correctly

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in commercial property and a focus on mechanical engineering. They will be proficient in using facilities management software, CAFM systems, and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach are essential.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A third-level qualification in facilities management or a related area
  • Experience in facilities management, preferably in commercial property
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
