Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site safety audits, inspections, and statutory checks for equipment, work areas, and high-risk activities.

Documentation Management:

Training & Workforce Engagement:
  • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training for high-risk tasks.
  • Maintain a training matrix to ensure staff certifications are current.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging employees and subcontractors.
Incident Management:
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Produce regular safety performance reports and KPIs for management review.
Requirements:
  • Third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years on-site safety experience in construction, pharmaceutical, or industrial sectors.
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications required.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
