National Key Account Manager

  • Senior Commercial Role
About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive revenue, margin, and profitability for assigned customers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Customer Director to ensure sustained growth.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in senior commercial sales positions within the FMCG sector. They will be highly collaborative, skilled influencers, and negotiators who can spot opportunities and think strategically across a 1-3 year timeframe.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate ownership of customer accounts, working closely with the Customer Director to drive sustained growth.
  2. Full P&L responsibility for customer accounts, ensuring visibility and consistent availability of all SKUs.
  3. Secure new product listings through effective negotiation and execute product launches at the customer level.
  4. Take ownership of the retail environment, coordinating merchandising support and field sales communication.
  5. Plan and manage customer-specific price increases and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve business challenges.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Substantial experience (5+ years) in senior commercial sales positions within the FMCG sector.
  • Highly collaborative and skilled influencer and negotiator.
  • Able to spot opportunities and think strategically across a 1-3 year timeframe.
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfortable with complex customer P&L preparations.
