Electrical Maintenance Role

A challenging position for a skilled electrician or electrical engineer to contribute to the success of our dynamic engineering team in Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join us as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Install, commission, and troubleshoot plant and equipment using expertise in motor control systems, pneumatics, and PLC/PC control systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maximum uptime and minimize downtime across production and utility systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role, both routine and reactive.
  • Strong knowledge of motor control systems, pneumatics, process temperature controls, and PLC/PC control systems.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards (BRC, ISO).
