Job Overview

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our construction projects. You will be responsible for managing the production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reports, as well as preparing and agreeing on project Payment Claims. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation of Internal and External Project Cashflow information, manage Change Control, identify and quantify delays and disruptions, and monitor commercial aspects during project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reports.
  • Prepare and agree on project Payment Claims.
  • Oversee the preparation of Internal and External Project Cashflow information.
  • Manage Change Control, including change identification and negotiation.
  • Identify and quantify the effects of Delay and Disruption on projects.
  • Monitor all ongoing commercial aspects during project execution.
  • Assume the role of Commercial Lead on projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a QS role.
  • Contractually and commercially astute.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Experience administering RIAI, GCC & Bespoke forms of contract.
  • IT Literate.
  • Experience with Cubit, CostX & COINS software packages preferable.
