Job Overview:

The role of a commercial development lead involves driving revenue growth in the UK construction market through proactive business development and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development or sales, ideally within the construction or architectural engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth in the UK construction market.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior leaders to gain sponsorship and accelerate the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet clients' needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the construction or architectural engineering sectors.
  • Strong expertise in consultative selling, value-based selling, ROI methodologies, and solution selling.
  • 4+ years of experience selling into the construction, engineering, or architecture sectors.
